Additional Voices

Greeting THE NIG IN ME readers, this is Ras The Exhorter here, a new blogger on Ramses’s site. He’s been tied up on many a projects and getting his life together, and he graciously asked me to contribute to this blog.
 
My first entry will be about the Transportation Safety Authority or TSA; they announced recently that by next fall the fluid ban will be lifted such that passengers will be able to once again carry liquid, gel or aerosols greater that 3 oz on planes.
 
Ras to the TSA (and the American Public) the Terrorist won! They’ve forced us to change our way of life. And that’s all the really want, so yeah, they won! Thanks a lot George Bush and Dick Cheney for pushing the fear of radical Islam off the scale. The one crucial fact about the terrorists (where ever they are from and whatever dogma they subscribe to) is that they can wrong and defeated 99.9% of the time, but when they have to be right and get through that 01% all hell breaks loose, and the over-reactionary U.S. Government (under the jingoistic regime of G.W. Bush thankfully with less than 90 days left in the Presidency) curtails its citizens civil liberties guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. The one document that almost no other country has, and is the basis for the freedom all American citizens enjoy above and beyond the rest of the populace in the Global Village.
