Their Power Is Unparralled

We don't even really know how tight the Corporate Power Structure

There was a recent episode of Warren Olney's Show Which Way L.A. in which he was discussing the fact that most medical students avoid being general practitioners because the pay is so low and the cost to run an office and deal with the bullshit insurance bureaucracy siphons off any kind of cash that they may make. This doctor from the heartland of California was talking about how specialists get three and four times the amount, when a regular internist can provide the same care. And another doctor was stating that the drug companies pay kickbacks and bonuses to doctors who prescribe their pharmaceuticals... or the sales reps for the expense ass machines like MRIs also pay kickbacks when those machines are incorporated in part of the regimen for ATTEMPTING to deduce what is wrong with someone. The fact that all these doctors and hospitals are in the pocket on the Drug Companies isn't shocking, it's appalling. It makes you wonder if you can really trust the diagnosis, because the doctor making the claims could be making enough cash for the mortgage on his vacation home by slangin' oxycontin or xanax or God knows what other drug is being prescribed (like all the fucking anti-depressant drugs that are on the market. There's even boost Anti-Depressants that extent the reach of shit like Zoloft.

Americans need to be very afraid of the Corporate Power Structure, it's not just the military industrial complex that we need to be vigilant about, it's the financial-industrial-chemical complex that is standing with its foot on our neck, and must people are just too dumb to realize it.

Paul Krugman's NYTimes Editorial excoriated the right-wing/GOP/Confederates and the outright lies that they're offering the public as the alternative to Obama-care; these lies serve who? You guessed it!

But Krugman makes some interesting points about how potentially ungovernable the nation is (just like California has proven to be), because of the lines drawn in the sand by the members of the Republican / Confederate party, "Given the combination of G.O.P. extremism and corporate power, it’s now doubtful whether health reform, even if we get it — which is by no means certain — will be anywhere near as good as Nixon’s proposal (you have to read the whole article for this explanation), even though Democrats control the White House and have a large Congressional majority.

And what about other challenges? Every desperately needed reform I can think of, from controlling greenhouse gases to restoring fiscal balance, will have to run the same gauntlet of lobbying and lies.

I’m not saying that reformers should give up. They do, however, have to realize what they’re up against. There was a lot of talk last year about how Barack Obama would be a “transformational” president — but true transformation, it turns out, requires a lot more than electing one telegenic leader. Actually turning this country around is going to take years of siege warfare against deeply entrenched interests, defending a deeply dysfunctional political system
."

So where are we when it comes to uncuffing the LLC Shackles? When these idiots in the town hall meetings scream that they want their America back, I somehow doubt they mean the pre-70s America, when corporate lobbyists and interests didn't steal the governing from Main Street and put all the decisions in the hands of Wall Street and those sitting in boardrooms smoking cigar and sipping brandy, chuckling gleefully as they continue to bad their pockets at the expense of the hard working people who make up the dramatically dwindling middle class.

GOP Scare Tactics...

For some reason the GOP/Confederate Party of America is trying to hornswoggle the general American public into thinking that a government-backed version of Health Care is for shit!

I was watching Fox News Channel the other day and they had this "Canadian" citizen on talking about how the universal health care system in Canada failed her when it came to diagnosing and treating her cancer. How she got the run-around, and then she ultimately had to come to the US to find the right specialist to save her life (first of all she should have gone to Cuba and saved a lot more money and gotten equal or better treatment).

But this is a PISS POOR case example, because we all know that "The System" wasn't the reason why this bitch was misdiagnosed... it was that she had bad doctors, and bad doctors aren't exclusive to national health care systems -- shit, just look at all the malpractice cases that are filled EVERY WEEK in the US with it's so-called top quality health care. The US falls behind MOROCCO in terms of overall health care for its citizens, so no shit talking about nationalized health care being for chumps who embrace socialism. It doesn't matter how health care is paid for, you can have a bad doctor. [Say it isn't so, Ramses, say it isn't so!!!] I mean just because you pay out the ass for a doctor's visit THAT YOUR HMO TOLD YOU WHO YOU COULD SEE doesn't mean that they're steering you to the best practitioner. The HMO bastards are steering you toward WHO IS ACCEPTING THAT HMO... who knows what the criteria for that is? I'm sure it's not the most-cutting edge, highly respected specialist! That's for god damn sure!!!

Also, how many stories have been related to you in which someone was stricken with some unique-as-fuck ailment and had to crisscross all over the country to find that ONE specialist who could help them and give them a new lease on life? I bet you your house and your mom's house that the HMO didn't cover that treatment or the travel costs either!!!

American Doctors and the rest of the gouge-you-for-all-you're-worth medical system lobby is once again succeeding with its propaganda coup in convincing the woefully gullible American public that government health care will be bad for.

Let's consider something, most health care goes to the poor and the old -- and those expenses are covered by MediCare and MedicAid, something like 60%, yeah, 60 fucking %, of health care is ALREADY SUPERVISED by the government.

You mean to tell me that you want private health insurance running everything? Have you fallen for the shit that GOP's anointed one - Ronald Reagan -- pushed down your throat that government is bad, that government doesn't work? If that's they case, then why do you want government to operate the military? Why do you want to have all that money spent on defense, because those same government bureaucrats are the ones who can't get shit done in Washington!! Maybe we should let private industry run the military... I'm sure Blackwater and the rest of those high-paid mercenaries can do just as good if not a better job than the Green Berets, SEALS, Rangers and the rest of the Special Forces, let alone fly the F-22 and Blackhawks better than the air calvary unit and the Air Force, because for some reason under the GOP mindset the only branch of the government that works is the military... and yet they fuck up all the damn time to! Can you say Abu Ghraib? Can you say Somali during the Blackhawk Down Inicident?

So don't fall for the horse-shit that government doesn't work, but except the government to protect your ass from global threats. If the government doesn't work, it's because the GOP/Republican/Confederates have slashed the funding, so every governmental institution is under-funded. I mean no wonder government doesn't work if they're understaffed by 40% and can't be competitive salaries!

ROADBLOCKS BY BITCHES IN THE GOP/CONFEDERATE PARTY

The RNC -- which is claiming that the current blacklash against President Barak Obama's health care/insurance reform plan is a grassroots movement -- just plum plain forgot that couple of weeks ago announces that the RNC was going to spend $1million in a campaign to discredit or “cast a shadow” on President Barak Obama’s health care revamp initiative. Like WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?

Seriously is Michael Steele the biggest Uncle Tom/Clarence Thomas that has ever been produced (outside of those “brothas” that shot Malcolm X)??? If ever a black man needed a lynching (which I never advocate, except in dire and extreme circumstances)

You can’t reasonably believe that Obama’s plan is catastrophic, and why the fuck do the GOP/Republician/BigBusiness Fucktoys continually deride, denounce and destroy attempts to revamp healthcare. This will be the reason why I move out of the United States, because Health Care costs just eat up too much.

Granted America is filled with fat, over-fucking-weight slobs who munch down on too much fast food and have all around shitty diets which start causing harm from your late 30s until you die, and that needs to change for any change in the cost of health care to be meaningful as non-wasted expenses in a family’s yearly financial structure.

Those GOP/Confederate fucks wasted our time and the tax payers money with Sonya Sotomayor hearings, focusing in on her stance that a Latin woman is more wise than a white man – no doubt that is true, because white men when they get to a certain age and achieved a certain level of power to make decisions that more than their immediate family have either committed a lot heinous crimes or are just ignorant and stubborn about their ignorance.

I heard some White Trash Bitch claim that the government shouldn't have control over 1/6 (or 1/7) of the national economy... uh, bitch, they control 110% of the national economy -- if they want to, have you considered that? And 60% of health is already run by Washington Desk jockeys... get your head out of your ass.

Smear & Fear

I gotta give it to The GOP… as much as I hate their whole style, they are good at bushwacking the psyche of the American people and getting them to react on negative emotions, namely fear and anxiety. The Smear & Fear Election-Stealing Tactics that Karl Rove perfected for the GOP (they’ve been running this game to perfection since Willie Horton provided them with the means to take the 1988 election) has enabled John McCain to gain ground in this most important national election (not just for president but for Congress as well).

Government here in America is the best money can buy, that’s why so many will spend so much money for positions that on paper pay so little. Republicans understandably never tire of feathering their own nest. But the data are irrefutable: their policies damage the economy, grievously. Another eight years of such policies and we will be a full fledged colony of the Middle Kingdom… China that is for all you less-read readers..

My big issue with McCain and the GOP is that they tend to scare the shit out people who ARE NOT rich into thinking that Democrats are going to tax & spend – they’ll tax the uber-rich, yes, – and mount all these deficits. McCain and the GOP claim that taxing the rich flunks the economy, because taxing the poor and the middle-class over the last eight years (both directly and indirectly - through skyrocketing education, medical and energy expenses) has done so much good for the American economy!! Before it's too late, the GOP need to get ushered off stage.

Now let’s get this straight though… There's nothing wrong with being rich. But there's a LOT wrong with being greedy and hypocritical. And that pretty much sums up the Republican Party, remember what Bush memorably said? "This is an impressive crowd - the haves and the have-mores."

Conservatives whine, whine, whine about entitlements. Social Security is probably one of the most successful programs ever put in place - or would have been had Congress kept their hands out of the cookie jar. Medicare could have probably been fixed except Bush put in the Trojan Horse of prescription drug benefits, and to smear dog-shit in our face, disallowed Medicare to bargain with the drug companies. I always hear the NeoCons ranting about destroying FDRs legacy of entitlement programs and they almost have gutted them all, now what?

But the thing about the GOP is, it took the reins of power after Newt Gingrich’s sadistically oxymoronic “Contract with America” (more like Contract to Rape & Pillage America) and has served up a culture of arrogance, corruption and scandal! Remember that one congressman who was looking to suck the dick of the young Congressional pages? The fool who was actually championing a protection of minors bill in Congress?

The biggest trick the GOP have pulled off is making a huge swath of its base believing that McCain’s long-ago reputation as a maverick or by Ms. Palin’s appealing persona are okay: the Republican Party, now more than ever, is firmly in the hands of the angry Right, which has always been much bigger, much more influential and much angrier than its counterpart on the other side.

Where does all this asinine anger come from, I wonder? To a degree a substantial portion of it is cultivated by the confounding cultural and religious conflicts that rage within this country (for no good reason): fundamentalist Christians are actively outraged by Roe v. Wade and evolution in the schools. However, careful observation of the GOP stand-in for a cross burning in St. Paul over the past week will uncover that a health percentage of the Right’s “I Won’t Stand for This” attitude is based not on the claim that Democrats have done evil deeds (leave that to the GOP), but on the perception — with no credible or even semi-credible evidence to speak of — that Democrats look down their noses at regular people.

Like that is EVER the case… the GOP have sold to the proudly ignorant chumps that populate the Americana that we lament over that you’re supposed to vote Republican to stick it to an elite that thinks it’s better than you. The GOP has established a cultural cult since the era of Nixon, a cult foisted Dubya Bush up in the White House, a cult that celebrated his anti-intellectualism and made much of the supposed fact that the “misunderestimated” C-average student had proved himself smarter than all the fancy-pants experts (and what the FUCK is wrong with fancy pants?). If your measuring stick for being proved smart is letting the people that you pledge to protect go it alone, then Dubya should be a card-carrying member of Mensa.

Is it outlandish as fuck that the “party that has controlled the White House, Congress or both for 26 of the past 28 years, a party that, Borg-like, assimilated much of the D.C. lobbying industry into itself — until Congress changed hands, high-paying lobbying jobs were reserved for loyal Republicans — really portray itself as running against the “Washington elite”?

Yeah, that’s what McCain and the GOP are trying to do… and unless people get up off their asses and get Black registered to vote and make them vote in Florida, Michigan and Ohio on Election Day, then we’re in for SOME SHIT!

AMERIKKKA'S SINN

You probably wonder why I haven’t weighed in on the so-called Racist remarks that emerged from the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign.

Well, why the hell should I?

It’s expected that I do, and so I’m not.

Of course this backstabbing is just a dangerous foreshadowing of what the GOP are going to do to Barak Obama, should he receive the nomination. I honestly believe that once the Democrats get closer to choosing Barak or Hillary, and the GOP narrows their field to two candidates, GOP media-assassination gangs (like the people who developed the Willie Horton advert or the Swift Boat shit) are going to slowly leak racist and misogynistic negative ads on the internet, so that by the time the Democratic National Convention rolls around there’s going to be an undercurrent of anti-Black and anti-Women throughout the South.

Take a look at what’s being done to Barak Obama right this fuckin’ minute!!! He’s being accused of ibeing of Muslim (which I guess it tantamount to being a card-carrying Communist in the Cold War Days), of clandestinely using a Qu’ran instead of a bible during his swearing in/oath of office ceremonies, and of not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance (which is something I haven’t done since I was 15, nor I have I sung the so-called national anthem) at any time! Uh… doesn’t a supreme court justice hold out the bible for swearing in Senators?!?! And hasn’t Barak led the charge in the Senate for time to time when presiding over the Senate, and how could he be a Muslim, when he’s been seen at church??! What happened to freedom of religion? Oh, I forgot if it’s not a Western European approved religion, then you best back the hell up!

These are the type of attacks that are insidious, because they are completely unable to be proved, and yet what do they do? They impugn Obama’s integrity, call into question his patriotism and associate him with “the evil ones” in the minds and eyes of the weak-fucks who believe being a Christian – especially an evangelical one – is paramount to presiding in the Oval Office. Dubya’s debacle of a presidency had “strong Christian values” as one of its cornerstones, yet the pure evil, vindictive attitude and shockingly amoral behavior that was vomited out from his command center is truly oxymoronic; even his 2000 catch-phrase of Compassionate Conservative smacks of embracing a Southern Christian flair. Said flair is close in blind spirit to the Taliban and other foolish Islamic fundamentalists.

The GOP are just sharpening their knives for Hillary and Obama – either one enables the GOP dirty trick purveyors to have a field day. They must be jacking off now (or in the case of Anne Coulter, fist-fucking herself with a dock-workers glove) with glee, because they will challenge themselves by having to be shrewd and not come across as racist or anti-female as the get ready to rip.

Obama's message for CHANGE is what the world needs. For the country not to get behind him means that we deserve everything we get over the next 10 years -- whether it's three more terrorist attacks, a depression fueled from a run on the dollar, trade deficits that are sky high, loss of all manufacturing within the continental United States, mass exodus of money and brainiacs... expect it all and then some.
