This week the Obama Administration has enacted edicts to cap executive pay for financial companies and the big banks. Bravo, bravo, bravo.

Now many critics are clamoring that this is socialist, that this yanks the core out of capitalism (being paid a heinously high wage for your skill set), and that it'll stifle competition or cause a "brain drain" at this top

The so-called skill that these top financial wizards really have is the moxy to bet large and bet large often where the odds of success are rigged to work out, but in the extreme happenings that the bets don't pay off, Satan comes calling to the American Taxpayer.

The upper level managers at the big banks WILL NOT be hurting by having actually salary caps, because they're getting unlimited compensation in stock options... which means that the quest to drive up the stock prices (short term gain over long term growth once again) will continue to put at risk everyone else's wealth. Not to mention that these people will be able to borrow against the future worth of the stock options (that will no doubt be worth a lot, because these oligarchs WILL ensure that the stock price continues to rise -- at the expense of what else? who knows, but surely it's at the expense of the lower classes' pensions and future well-being.

My bunghole hurts just thinking about how big of dildo Wall Street is going to shove up it -- with no vaseline -- next time.

I heard something today, which has to be bullshit, but probably not and I'll have to do some research to find out. In any event, the tidbit of news was that Bank of America will be charging its credit card customers a few who PAY OFF THEIR ENTIRE BALANCE EACH MONTH! Yeah, seriously you must pay Bank of America interest fees if you carry a balance or pay a fee just to keep the card if you carry no balance (and they have the nerve to maintain the name "bank of america", should be the "bank of the soviet republic").

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's too close to what a bullshit credit card company like First Premier does (you have to pay $6/month "service" fee... regardless if you have a balance or not just to keep your account open... on top of the annual fee and any interest charges you get for whatever balance you have).

Wells Fargo, run by cheap fucker John G. Stumpf, no doubt has something similar in the works that they'll announce shortly.

It would seem that American Express isn't such a bad option with their $55 annual fee... at least if you're the type of person who doesn't want to carry a credit card balance and uses the credit card as a cash substitute, not a loan. Getting a loan these days is just a pernicious hassle if banks like BofA and Wells Fargo are going to spread your buttchecks and expand your sphincter with a baseball bat.

The Oligarchical power that the Wall Street Banks exhibit, subtly, is really a direct result of Ronald Reagan's presidency. Remember President Eisenhower's Farewell Speech, in which he warned about the heinous and pernicious power grab that the Military Industrial Complex was working? Well, during Reagan's administration, he fucking embraced the Military Industrial Complex and made the majority of Americans think it was unpatriotic not to do so!!!

You want to know why America can pay for healthcare and why Social Security is such an atomic bomb in national politics? Because of Reagan's excessive military spending on programs that were just complete bullshit designed to line the pockets of rich fucks. Remember SDI? The Strategic Defense Initiative? It was Reagan's military business CEOs wanting more money, and Reagan pushed through the spending measure on some program in which laser satellites were going to shoot down Soviet ICBMs... yeah,... how completely idiotic does that sound. Considering the fact that no one knows if ICBMs actually will work... they've never been tested! Do yo know that! The idea of sending missiles over the North Pole is lunacy, because who knows if the extreme magnetism won't trip up the guidance system.

That's why the nuclear submarine fleet is of infinite more importance, we know those SAM warheads actually work.

But Reagan tricked the public into thinking that America needed to outspend the Soviets, when it was known by the CIA DURING NIXON'S TIME that the Soviets were no real military threat... and yet, for another 15 years money was wasted on building up the military at the expense of reducing the deficit, money that could have been spent on renewable energy. Jimmy Carter had solar panels installed on the White House (which Reagan tore down like the complete jackass that he was), and just imagine if Reagan did help orchestrate Carter's defeat by colluding with the Ayatollah Khomenini and Carter's policies on getting the US off its oil addiction had been in effect for the another 4 years? Where would we be known regarding the quest for Green Energy Sources? A lot fucking further than we are now... but Exxon and the rest of Big Oil was funding Reagan and the rest of the GOP SOBs... to the benefit of whom? The top CEOs, Board Members and major block shareholders... at the expense of the planet and the American taxpayers wallets.

THE DUMBING DOWN OF AMERICA, part one of a series

Last night I was trawling through the Ralph’s on Sunset near La Brea, and after I finished making my selections of butter, marmalade, English muffins and Jameson, I made my way to the check-out station. I couldn’t use the automated one (why don't those things work at night?), so I had to rely on the late shift people. Not one of my favorite things to do, as it takes an inordinate amount of time to scantron your items the later and later it becomes at night.

Anyway, I usually read the weekly news magazines or fitness mags as I wait in line. But I noticed a curious thing – every fucking magazine in the Ralph's was some piece of shitrag gossip tabloid! All booming the same sad, "I-don't-give-a-fuck" story – the mental collapse of that uber-cum dumpster Britney Spears (talk about your walking nuclera waste zone), with such headlines as “Time Bomb” or “Mental Disaster” plastered beneath either the destructive, current pictures of the has-been songbird or next to images of her former squeaky-clean self (which are funny to see now).

The thing about Spears is, she’s not even cute. Just an average bitch who you wouldn’t look twice at if she was standing in line behind you at your local Ralph’s. I mean, even in her heyday, I couldn’t get hard to jack-off to her when I was between girlfriends. Didn’t matter what photo it was, my dick stayed limp - even that so-called hot one fro the cover of Esquire which was a bite of an Angie Dickinson cover (ain't that a name for a hot bitch?).

But back to the plethora of bullshit in the check-out line... there is no excuse for that, none what-so-ever! It all goes back to the fact that Americans are probably the most ill-informed and perhaps overall stupid populace in the entire developed world. And we rejoice in that fact.

What’s the deal with all that? Why do Americans, as a general rule, eschew education, intelligence, quest for knowledge and other things that signify anti-idiocy? Even though the term “the dumb jock” is bandied about with a bit of derision, people still suck the dumb jock’s cock when he’s at the height of his popularity in high school. Someone was telling me the other day that in China 30% of the students in the University level of education are getting math & science degrees, whereas in the US only like 5% of the student body is getting down with the hard sciences.

Come to think of it, all things about the shamelessness of our adult lives stem from the bullshit that takes place in high school. I’m surprised high school isn’t more socially controlled than it is, because too much psychically damaging shit happens during those 4 years that affect the rest of your life the way no other 4 years in your entire existence can or do.

Still I don't know if Hillary Clinton in '08 is a good prospect for the Country, much like Obama, Clinton immediately creates polarization amongst the voting populace. Since she's a double lightning rod for the GOP -- a bitch and a Clinton -- it gives the GOP a perfect sounding board for the "Get Out The Vote" campaign that they're going to need for the general election.

As much as I want to see Obama win the ticket, win the White House, I can see the election looking just like the 2000 election when the country was so split down Red/Blue State lines, with Obama potentially taking the popular vote (although highly unlikely, 'cause he's of Nigerian descent) and whoever the GOP prop up with Carl Rove dirty tricks winning the electorial college voting.

The same thing would happen with Hillary, and that's if she can get over the fact that she's a woman. Too many men AND WOMEN operate under the assumption that Women don't have the true-grit mindset to deal the confrontational nature of national and international politics... I think outside of Britain, the Philippines and India, there hasn't been a female leader on the world stage... until that new PM of Germany won oh, so recently. Britain and Germany get a pass, because the systematic debasing of women isn't part of their culture the way it is the land of the free, the home of the brave (my favorite oxymoron in the history of the world).

You have to realize that the GOP are going to capitalize on Hillary's scorned woman persona that she has left behind... not tripping and standing behind her man (good ole Bill) might look like she's soft and will accept being slighted to her core. Imagine the similar questions that were asked of Michael Dukakis about his wife getting raped, being aimed at Hillary? I'm shuddering now, and if she ever just once even has tears welling up in her eyes SHE IS THROUGH, completely and utterly.

The '08 means more to the GOP than it does to the Dems, because if they lose after Dubya's assfucking of the country (Iraw debacle, economy, domestic civil rights policies, sucking Big Businesses dick) then they'll be out of the national power circle for some time. As it's hard to believe that they'll win back the Congress this time around, too. Not to mention any new supreme court appointments.

I just don't want to see the Monica Lewinsky shit get rehashed AGAIN, and it will be. I can see Carl Rove know pulling up the video tape from the archives already, getting ready to smash the prospect of women president -- in general, let alone Hillary -- by showing the bullshit media coverage of "Cigar-in-the-pussy-gate."

The election season just got cranked up to nasty level 12...
